We are looking to grow regionally, preferably with multi-unit operators. Ideally, we are looking to join forces with people who have experience with and a passion for restaurant operations. We also look for people who are hard-working leaders, and who are committed to quality food, team building, and great guest service.
When you join Matt’s Big Breakfast, you will have access to our founding team; we will be there to support you at every step, even attending your restaurant’s grand opening. We will also provide both classroom and on-the-job training, covering important aspects of running a Matt’s Big Breakfast location. You will receive a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your restaurant properly on a day-to-day basis. We’ll be there to provide remote support, ongoing guidance and answer questions you may have.
The projected initial investment for a single start-up location ranges from about $395,700 to $741,960. This investment amount includes an initial fee of $40,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
Our program features a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross revenues that you pay to us. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of recipes, marketing tools, training programs and systems upgrades.
You will be required to spend a minimum of 0.5% of gross sales per month on local marketing. You will also contribute up to 1% of gross revenues into a system-wide marketing fund. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Matt’s Big Breakfast brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
We do not offer direct financing. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resources on a case-by-case basis.
